the elephant in the room.

So when I was little, my favorite stuffed animal (the stuffed animal that I carried everywhere) was an elephant.  Her name was Mrs. E and she was pink and she was awesome.  I still have her, but she is no longer pink because she doesn't have any fur!  My parents recently told me that they could never find a "backup Mrs. E" in case I lost her.  I think that's cute because I know she is one of a kind :)  Anyways, after my Mrs. E days I found myself collecting all things elephant.  When I saw this sweater in Forever 21 I knew I had to have it.  It's like my grownup Mrs. E that I can take with me.  Do you still have your stuffed animal or blanket from when you were little?

  8. Hi Jenny! I actually do have my teddy bear still from when I was little, however teddy print is not quite as trendy as elephants are! This sweater is perfect and I love the color combo of the sweater and bright flats. And is that a fish-tail braid I spy?? Very nice!

  9. Yes! haha I totally have one, he was a tiny white fluffy lamb, named Lambie. I carried him everywhere, he also doesn't have any fur anymore! My mom wanted to put him in a glass keepsake dome but seriously, how is he supposed to breathe in there? I love your sweater though! is that a hounds-tooth blouse? so cute as always!

    1. Awww little Lambie, cute name! I have Mrs. E on a shelf, but yea, I think it would be weird to put it in a case. My blouse is denim underneath, kinda hard to see in the pictures, but trying the layered look out to spice it up a little. I hope all is well!

  10. I'm in love with your elephant-covered sweater. That's so sweet that you still have your stuffed Elephant from when you were a little girl. I still keep things like that (as much as my mom says I should throw them out). I can't part with them!
